About Me
For the past five years I have worked with perinatal women, infants and toddlers in NYC. I began my career with a nutrition focus and became passionate about breastfeeding when I began to see first-hand the health disparities between breastfeeding babies and those fed artificial baby milk. I have a Master of Science in Nutrition and I am a Registered Dietitian, Certified in the State of New York (RD/CDN). I am also an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant/Registered Lactation Consultant (IBCLC/ RLC) and a member of the International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA) & New York Lactation Consultant Association (NYLCA).
Me as a newborn.
My mom says I self-weaned at nine months. I also walked and spoke before age 1. My precociousness was due in part to my older sister Julia. Monkey see, monkey do!
This is me two summers ago at the Annual Bronx Breastfeeding Coalition's Yankee game where mothers breastfed freely in the stadium. How cool to watch women normalizing breastfeeding in sports stadiums, one Mom-Baby dyad at a time!
